Three steps to ship Zapier in your pilot
Connect your Nexora account
In your Zapier dashboard, add Nexora as an app and authenticate with your tenant API key. The connection appears under "My Apps" with the standard Zapier permissions and revocation surface.
Build trigger-action Zaps
Triggers: conversation completed, intent detected, campaign callback received. Actions: send an SMS, create a row in Airtable, file a row in Google Sheets, schedule a Calendly event. Multi-step Zaps with filters and formatting work normally.
Monitor through Zapier
Zap runs appear in your Zapier task history with the conversation payload, the action result, and any errors. Quota and rate limits follow Zapier's standard rules; high-volume integrations may warrant a direct connector.
Common Zapier use cases
Logging every conversation outcome into Airtable or Google Sheets for ad-hoc reporting and ops review.
Triggering Mailchimp or Klaviyo sequences when the agent detects a marketing-qualified intent.
Sending Stripe payment receipts or Calendly booking links as a follow-up action after a chat conversation.
Zapier — trigger: conversation completed
Stylised example — not a runnable script. Endpoints, payload shapes, and authentication are documented in the integration runbook shipped during the pilot.
Common questions
When should I use Zapier instead of a native connector?
Use Zapier for SaaS tools that don't yet have a native Nexora connector, especially when the integration is owned by your ops team rather than your engineering team. For high-volume use cases (millions of events per month) or for tight latency requirements, prefer a direct connector — Zapier adds a hop in the path.
What triggers does the Nexora Zapier app expose?
Today: conversation completed, intent detected, campaign callback received, message sent, message received. New triggers ship in response to customer demand — request one through sales if you need a specific event surface. We add triggers behind feature flags and promote them after a stability window.
Is the Zapier integration rate-limited?
Yes — Zapier's own rate limits apply per your plan, and the Nexora app respects them. For high-volume integrations we recommend a direct connector; for ops-level automation (a few thousand events per day) Zapier is the right shape. The dashboard shows when you're approaching limits.
How is the Zapier authentication revoked?
Through Zapier's standard "My Apps" surface. Revoking the connection invalidates the tenant API key Zapier was using; existing Zaps fail-soft until you re-authorise. This matches the principle-of-least-surprise contract every Zapier integration follows — no special workflow for Nexora.
